Burner MAX Compatibility

Hello all,

first post here

iv been following Burner Max release, along with few Lite-On models compatibility..

In my city iv found this model : LITE-ON IHAS122-04b

Anyone knows if i could flash any similar firmware to this drive to get it to work ? is it possible?

no that would not be guaranteed to succeed. i suppose it could be possible, but it is not technically supported so doing it would mean you are on your own in terms of support.

Ok,

so I followed the tutorial, everything went well, the drive was successfully flashed with Burner MAX firmware

Iv burnt a single DVD for test purpose, and it did 100% without any errors

BUT, as I used a crappy DVD disc, a local one, I was unable to verify the disc, got an error @ 48% , and my Xbox didn't even recognize it

dunno what to say, i will try to find a good quality DVD disc, and report back.

Back again,

so I am using a iHAS122-0 B crossflashed to iHAS524B, i am still using cheap DVD disks, Iv managed to get a 100% burn & verified & installed to HD backup.

what are your kprobe numbers? I would be interested to know.

Here it is... I'm not sure what these numbers actually mean, but i think they are "ok" ... right? Iv seen much higher results out there.. whats the verdict?

your numbers are too high. Look at this official TX thread related to what can be considered "acceptable". It is up to you whether you listen to them or not, but they are the relative experts on this particular topic so I consider them as the "source". XGD3 Quality Test Guidelines - Team Xecuter
