Ok, so i've been banned and i don't want to use my hard drive because i heard it can corrupt my gamertag and what not. I have thought of an idea, If i play on my brothers gamertag which is on the same hard drive, and i play a game that i have not saved yet will it corrupt my hard drive on my profile? and if i use my hard drive on a new xbox which i might buy in the future, will that xbox get banned because of my HDD?

Hard drives are not marked as banned, so you're fine on that front.

I read that playing ANY game will corrupt your saves. I'd backup the drive before trying anything.

So does that mean I will only loose all the saved progress I while being banned, and when I put my hdd on a new xbox, only the saves I made while banned will be gone? Or just every games saves are gone? Thanks!
