Don't get me wrong or anything, I'm sure this took a lot of hours and extra expense to make but I never understood what the point of all this "showing the guts" thing is. I'd much rather see someone do a detailed stencil image than the open plexi thing ... but that's just me.

Each to their own I guess. Personally i've always liked the look. My last 2-3 PC cases have had windows. Something exciting about looking at the inner workings.

No offense taken, its more the lighting them up and having the disks on show that's the appealing bit! It's not that expensive really, a can of paint a decent cutting tool and some time! I am heading towards doing more intricate design's as they will look bloody good especially with back lighting, my first idea was just to make the top cover glow but that requires really bright LEDs and would go beyond economical logic.

And the slim isn't that good for modding down to the fact they've hidden the mobo under the drive and heatsink, at least in the phats you can see a lot more.

I think this one is good though. I like the Gold X on the DVD disk lock, my favorite bit
