You know i'm not 100% sure on this, but i think it's because ixtreme 1.6 sets the read speed to 12x, thus your drive sounds louder that when it's in its original state.
Anyone else have thoughts on this?
i did flash benq with ixtereme 1.6
i used dosflash method that didnt required ck3 tool
and what i noticed is fan is louder
it defanately is cause i have 2 360 to compare to
flashed is falcon and the other one i have is the one came out b4 falcon
thx for your thought
i think that makes sense but even when you play installed game?
that doesnt have to do with drive is it?
yeah it reads the code off the disk to boot it
during the game play
and when i hold fan to forcefully stop then noise goes away
12x only controls drive speed not fan speed iv never herd of this problem are they stock fans?
could be it has use more power since its flashed, causeing it to heat more
if that is the case we would get banned way to fast....because some ppl with modded xbox 360's like more fan's in it and fancy light got banned for it...so i think if its indeed ''heating'' up the xbox they need to change the code or somthing
the drive at default read 12X speed and when u flash u have the option 2 set it as low as 2X i believe.(correct me if im wrong its been awhile sence ive had 2 flash) and no u wouldnt get banned unless if the new fans used more then 12 volts (if that was true then im surprized im not banned....knock on wood...)sence i have blue LED'S running off the fan power...if i had the time i would upload a pic of it...srry that i rambled off topic a little bit
What i was trying to say was that flashed=12speed drive compared to 8x, cause more power to be used by motor causing higher heat, that all. i dont think you can get banned for fan modding, its harddrive that you can, dm the new ixtreme doesnt let you lower it for lower chance if getting banned
