    E76 Error

I have an older Xbox with this error and after some searching, it's an Ethernet error. Is there a fix or workaround for this? This was given to me as it had rrod, I fixed that but now it's e76. It's was manufactured in late 2005 and I am curious to see what dash it's on. Any help would be appreciated.

You could try replacing the network chip if you can get another one from somewhere.

    E76 Error

    What's the secondary code
Or what's mentioned above. Replace network chip.

Now that's what I call quick support! Is there anyway to bypass the error screen to get to the dash?

Not without replacing the chip. Cheap enough, many here can do it if you cant

EXX errors aren't always what they seem. It could be the ethernet port, the network chip, the Southbridge, the gpu, or even something else.

In the case of a spelling error, I blame Tapatalk.

    Nope.

Before you start removing the chip, touch up all the legs of the chip with fresh solder, sometimes e76 can be a cold solder joint on 1 of the chips legs

    sent from my pimped S4
