Most likely no. An iHas drive is strongly recommended for quality and reliability![]()
Hi!
This is my first post so bare with me as I dont really know what I'm talking about!
Anyway, I have a computer with a tsstcorp sh-s223c DVD drive, it burns XGD2 fine, but I was woundering will this drive burn XGD3? I put the drive name into google and found a post of someone on another website saying they have succesfully burned XGD3 using this drive, however then it suddenly stops working for them. I don't want to waste discs before asking and was always taught, there is no harm is asking!
I believe the drive is a Samsung aswell if that helps.
Many thanks,
Connor.

If you need your drive flashed for a low price or have any questions, PM me!
i dont think there are any sammy drives crossflashable to ihas at present. therefore a successful 100% burn of an xgd3 backup wont be possible with that drive matey. if you cant get an ihas then its possible to crossflash one of the following with burnermax
ASUS
DRW-24B3LT
DRW-24B3ST
DRW-24B1LT*
DRW-24B1ST*
Dell
PLDS DH-16ABS
HP
DVD1270i*
DVD1260i*
Lite-On
iHAS122*
Plextor
PX-L890SA
TEAC
DV-W524GSB
*drives need to be revision B
Ah I see. Thank you for the quick reply!
ALWAYS FLASH TO STOCK BEFORE ACCEPTING DASHBOARD UPDATES!!
I will not give you "workaround" solutions. Do it right, or don't do it at all!
