New to burning XGD3 games, need a little help please!

Hey guys I am new to the whole XGD3 scene, but not to burning games.

I have a Macbook Pro and an iHAS 124B drive flashed so I can burn Memorex discs at 2.4x.

I have the drive hooked up to an external molex adapter that plugs into the wall and a SATA to USB.

I burnt my backup on OSX using isoBurn at 2.4X and set the correct layerbreak. I then went on my Windows partition and ran it through Kprobe2 and here are my results:

Now, I have been researching and I know what the ideal results should be but this disc just installed successfully on my 360.

Any help on getting these numbers to the more ideal results? Any help is greatly appreciated!

So ur ihas has been flashed with Burner max firmware and rip has been patched prior to burn using abgx1.0.6.

Understand ur numbers do drop especially if this is one of ur first burns.

Ur numbers could possibly be a result of the media u chose for the xgd3 burn.

I myself use mkm003's with excellent results.

Yep the drive has been flashed with burner max firmware. And I have ran the backup through abgx beforehand.

I do intend on buying some verbatim discs just wanted to use the 8 or so memorex discs up.

Also, during the burn on OSX or during the kprobe2 testing on windows, NO programs were opened in the background, just wanted to throw that out there because I have seen some people say that may have an effect.

I think overall they are a little bit better than the last burn. Any ideas on how to get them lower?

Well your PI scores are better and within specs, but your PIF Max and Average are almost double what they should be. The fact that the game installed is good, but it could still give you problems when playing. Considering these are Memorex discs, I'm guessing you shouldn't have any problems when you get Verbs in there.

Yeah yeah I know I need to get Verbatims haha, just wanted to use these memorex up but if there isn't really a way of getting better results with the memorex, I will certainly be buying verbs soon.

Are these memorex discs OK to play online since they installed to the HDD okay?

The backups are NCAA 13 and NBA 2k12, by the way.

Your results are outside of the specs, but obviously your drive can read the disc as it installed. No one can tell you with certainty how they'll behave, all we can say is that they SHOULD be within specs. That said, I'd play those if they were mine but I don't care about online play.
