Can I flash my 360 slim?

Like the title says guys.... I've been doing a lot of reading on the last few days, can't seem to find a 100% answer, at least not to my specific case.
Let me say that I never play online and I don't plan on doing it.
I have an xbox 360 slim, manufacture date 5-31-2011
Drive liteon
Model: DG-16d4s
FW ver: 1071
HW Ver : A0B0
Dash. ver :2.0.1.13599.0

I have a x360 usb pro and a ck3 mini.

Like I said I did some research and I'm still confused as to whether or not I can flash my drive to an LT firmware.
I'm not afraid to ask for help, I hope that someone can give me a little push on the right direction.

Yes it can be flashed. If in question about firmware availability, always check c4eva Speaks! | automated irc logs, updated instantly whenever and wherever c4eva speaks

Thanks for the fast answer, For what I understand as of right now my drive is locked correct? since is already locked should I update my dashboard version to the latest? or would that make it harder to flash my drive, Does it make a difference if I update or not? like i said before I never play online and i don't intent on doing so...

Yes, your drive is now locked. It's also no longer a 1071, but a 0272. The 13146 update consolidated all the different firmware versions into one. Same thing happened for phat Lite-Ons. You'll need to see what chip is on your drive to determine the best way to unlock it.



MXIC = Sputnik probe for unlocking
Winbond = Kamikaze hack or unlocked PCB

The only reason you shoulnd't update to the latest dash is if you are at all interested in getting your console RGH'd. Seeing as you don't play online, it may be something to look into. However, you don't want to update before checking it out as the latest dashes block it.

As soon as I get a chance I'll see what chip I have, when I found out that my drive was locked I started looking into getting an xkey for my xbox, did a lot or reading on it and since I had the 360usb pro and the ck3 and just thought that the LT+ would be a better option.... but now I'm not so sure, you'r opinion on that?

If you don't play online, and don't plan to, RGH is a far better option than the xKey and cheaper (at least with what I charge.) Once glitched, it can't be blocked by MS unless you unwittingly improperly update. Newer games that normally require an updated dash don't on an RGH console like they would with the xKey and could block it.

If I don't want to run homebrew or any emulators or nothing else except just have a flashed drive is the RGH still something that I should consider?

Thanks guys, I'll update as soon as I see what chip is on my drive, but my main goal is simply to flash my drive with LT+, just not sure how to.......yet.

ok, so I opened my 360 and looked at the drive and it has the 05X6C0459C70053 chip on it, while I had the drive out I successfully extract it the dumi.bin file and also the key, I save them both.
So.... Not sure where to go next, and like I mention before my main and only goal is to flash the drive with the LT+ firmware, Do I have to buy anything else? what is the easiest way to do it? if there is an "easier"way,I really don't want to spend anymore money, but if i have to......
