    CK3 PRO Not Ejecting Liteon?

Hi guys got a ck3 pro not ejecting liteon 74850c, i have tried with the molext power supply, portable molext power supply and computer power supply and will not eject, however i have an old samsung drive and my mate has brought his old samsung drive round and the eject works fine using all 3 power supplies on the samsung drives, also jf will pick up the samsung drives using the via sata card 6421 and x360 usbpro, but will not pick up the liteon drive using the via sata card 6421 or x360 usbpro, this is the second liteon drive this has happened to recently, there is nothing wrong with the liteon drive and has not been flashed or the console has never been opened before and plays games fine, has anyone got any idea whats going on.

Do you hear any action when you try to eject it? It could be a few factors, but you'll have to open up the drive to start troubleshooting them. There's an open/closed sensor that could be the culprit, possibly the belt on the drive tray motor is slipping...

Thanks i know the drive is fine had a new rubber band fitted and works when connected to the xbox, the clicking noise you would normally hear when pressing eject is not there, but is when connected up to either samsungs, my other mate has just come in with his liteon drive and thats exactly the same it will not eject.

Is the USB connected when you're trying to eject? If so, disconnect it and try it then. Not sure what's happening with your problems with these Lite-On drives. You aren't getting ANY recognition of the drive in JF?

Liteon will not eject when removing usb lead or sata lead, however the samsung drives will eject either way connected or not and liteons will not detect in jf but samsungs will!

Try "Introing" the drive and see if anything changes...

Does it make a difference if the tray is closed properly? How did you get it halfway open with out the ck3 ejecting the drive?

Just tried same procedure on my mates liteon drive and same result....no drive detected, could it be a faulty ck3 pro, but then i dont understand why everything works as it should on these samsung drives.
