ALL SLIMS Flashable?

I haven't delved into the world of slims yet, just not had a need. However, I've read a fair bit on it and it appears from what I've read, that not ALL the slims can be flashed. It looks like just the Liteon D4S has firmware for it, and that's it. Even there, some can be unlocked with a Sputnik and others that need the Kamikaze. Also, there's the unlocked PCB as a total board replacement.

However, I see people posting "professional modding services" in my area that they flash "ALL SLIMS, yes ALL SLIMS". They're only charging $30 or $40, so there's no way that cost includes an unlocked PCB. And even so, is an unlocked PCB an option for the Hitachi and D5S drives? Just been something nagging at me that I wanted to know your thoughts.

i honestly don't know how these professional modding services flash these drives if there isn't any firmware for them yet.

Pcb replacement cost like 50 English pound, so that is for sure not in the price.

You can look on c4evaspeaks and see that only the Lite-On DG-16D4S 9504/0272, 0225, 0401, 1071 are flashable. The Lite-On DG-16D5S 1175 as well as the Hitachi DL10N 0500/0502 are not flashable yet.

I'm totally aware of what's listed on c4eva... that the main source of information on CFW availability after all! I was just more suprised that people are advertising that they can do ALL of them, and that maybe there was something I was missing somewhere

Looks to me they gut swap the internals if they advertise all slims are flashable in there add.
