    Post Is the new slim Hitachi-Lg Dl10N drive flash-able ?

    Hey I opened up my new slim a few days ago an saw that I had the Hitachi-Lg DL10N drive so i was wondering if it was flash-able.

    ok thanks just wanted to know when do you think it will be flash-able or do you think it will ever be

    At the moment all efforts are concentrated on 1175 liteon, and there is no telling when that will be released, I would say you have a very long wait before Hitachi gets done, if you want a flashed drive I would suggest selling your current hitachi drive containing one and buying another with a flashable liteon in it.

    Ya I realized that all things are concentrated on the 1175 liteon drive but hopefully they finish it soon !!!

    ....well I wouldn't hold you breath for that, certainly not for hitachi, as far as I can tell absolutely nothing has been done with it yet.

    To be honest I'd be surprised if they bother with it at all, I have only come across about 4 hitachi drives in some 50-60 slims, they arent exactly popular.
