4 broken xboxes all RROD.

so the other day i bought 4 rrod xbox's for 50 dollars. fooled around with one and some idiot fried it already so its a lost cause...however the benq in it works fine. so my question is, is it possible to get the drive key off of a RROD xbox? thanks

Ofcourse its possible unless the drive is ruind. Take the drive out of the xbox, take your xbox wich you are going to put the drive in, and then read the firmware out of that drive and save it. Now with this new drive you spoof the old firmware wich was in the old xbox and put this one in, simple as that

EDIT : didnt notice, you just wanted to know if it was posible. But it is a good example how you could use it though. But yeah your answer is you can read the firmware of it wich has the key.

Well nobody would buy the xbox without the drive, unless they know how to read the nand of it but sure you could sell the rest of it case,HDD and much more

Worst case would be you doing a reset glitch and making some profit.
