Lite on external hard drive

I seen a this Lite On 24X DVD RW LS External, eHAU424 that I'm thinking about purchasing.it does everything the IHAS series do ,maybe more but I was wondering could the iXTREME MAX DOWNLOADER work for this or should I run it pass c4eva site to see what could be done to this drive if anything....

well all the burner max drives have been listed as internal so wouldn't recommend it but some people have been able touse the burner max firmware on different drives

Check the versions that are compatible with BURNER MAX choose one and buy. Go to an store and buy an external enclosure, I bought one and it works.

Unless the actual drive inside the enclosure is an iHAS 424, it won't work. It has nothing to do with what the drive can do and everything to do with Burner Max firmware only being written for specific drives.
