He said other media may work, but Verbatim is garaunteed to have no errors.
I have installed the iXtreme Burner MAX custom firmware to my IHAS124, and I have managed to burn forza4 100% and verified at 100% with no errors the media I used was datawrite.

Would this be safe even though C4eva recommends Verbatim.
I am just bit confused as he said he has tried all other media and had errors but verbatim was the only 1 which was fine. Did he not try Datawrite then? Thanks.

would it be safe to play on xbox live even though it is not a Verbatim?

The method of changing your disk burn speed worked great for me but i left opc on. The disc's im using are richohjpn-d01-67 they used to only burn at 4x now burn at 2.4x verify every time and load to hard drive. The program i use to change disc burn speed was (media code speed edit) Do not activate force ht and online ht as this does not work.
With this you can change the write speed of any disc. There is a tut somewhere telling you how to use this but i carn;t find it any more. Sorry. Big thanks to c4 for his ixtreme burner max firmware.
I was reading on c4eva speaks that a lot of people have had success with tdk-dl which is sweet because those disc are dirt cheap. Im not going to mess with them since i just bought a new spindle of verbs. But if your in need of disc might be worth a try
disc one burned perfectly with OPC on 4x and verify also good.
But on disc 2 with the verifying it reported an error on 50%
And i can't install second disk to my HD it always give an error.
Also it frequenly says that my disc is damaged or something en i have to reboot game? how can u tell what kind of verbatims u have? I do have verbs but don't know if its MK001s of MK003s
