What i know of spoofing is that it will get you banned but you are already with that xbox so that's not of your concern. Second, updates and stuff won't work good or not at all so that would be a reason not to do it either. I guess some other members can find you more reasons not to spoof, so in general it's a big No No. If your dashboard can't be updated, then you will not be able to run a certain firmware in one moment, what will cause you not to be able to play some of your backups anymore in the near future.

But if you really want to do it, you will need to use your key FW from your benq in source and the target will be also benq firmware LT+ 1.91, this will (with your LiteOn connected) spoof the LiteOn with the benq firmware. That is if i get your post correct. You can see for flashing the tut in my signature, they don't show how to spoof, but writing the firmware is pretty much the same as if you were using a original benq drive.

you don't need to take apart the benq drive. Just put in mode B (tray half open) click Benq Unlock then Read. Now you have your key. You only need to probe the Lite-on drive and that is just to get the key.

now that you have the key. Plug your lite-on in and load Jungle flasher. Put in Mode B same as Benq. In the first tab load the benq OFW in the source and then in the target Choose LT+1.91 benq. Spoof drive. so the keys match. then under the 3rd tab click write.

It's the same thing.... Did you read the Jungle Flasher TUT... Load the Lite-on LT+1.91 and click write... All you have to do is plug the drive in that you want to use.... Benq In this case and choose the LT+1.91 from the Original drive (lite-on). Click spoof so the keys match. click write.

First of all, if your Liteon's pcb has been burnt, and you're using your Benq to replace your liteon, then you want to spoof your Benq as a Liteon. Not the other way around.

    Read here
Hotfile.com: One click file hosting: jftut1.4.4.rar
    go to page 11
Read 'Spoofing a different drive' and 'Manual Spoofing'

Connect your Benq drive to your computer and open Jungleflasher.
Go on the firmware32 tab in jungleflasher use your lite-on Dummy.bin as your source firmware (since your liteon is your original drive), and then chose the appropriate iXtreme LT Benq firmware as Target since you're about to flash a Benq drive (spoofed as a liteon). Click 'Spoof Source to Target' and look for the spoofed as PLDS... under the target dvd key.
Write as you would write to a Benq drive, and you should be ok.

If that doesn't work, do a 'Manual Spoofing'.
