Hitachi V59 LT+1.1 Won't Read Backups Only Originals

Is there anything else I can do other than the POT Tweak?

EDIT: I got it to work using the POT Tweak (without a multimeter) and it only just manages to read the disc, do you think this is at a safe resistance?

Try to reflash, thats all i can suggest, maybe you flashed it to stock firmware?

If you didn't use a multimeter than it's probably not. You can turn it a hair and it makes the world of difference. If it reads originals fine try burning disks slower and using Verbatim or Memorex disc's I've never had a problem from Memorex but I do burn them with a Memorex burner to though.

I do understand that, it makes the world of difference. I might try and go backwards again and find the point where it changes. However, I don't have a proper tool so it's really hard to turn it small fragments.

I also always use verbatims burned at 2.4x.
