Games Freezes after 5 to 10mins of play.

Hello ALL, i flash my benq drive ixtreme 1.5/1.6/LT+1.1/LT1.2/LT1.9 and back to stock. game freezes while playing from 5 to 10mins. sometime is blackout and sometime it freeze when it trying to switch screen. example. NBA 2k11. I can only play for this first half. it will not when a video comes on. it freeze it there. Mortal Kombat 9 i was able to play for 20mins or so. and i get a black screen. ran all iso thru abgx, everything is vaild. it will not let me go back to dashboard. i have to power it off and backon. i try different disc also. verbatim is the one is using now. burn at 2.4x. i dont know what else to try. any advice?

Try to pot teak your laser see if that helps, if not it could be your actual burner

sounds like you are going to have a visit from Mr RROD...

I would install the game and then re-test to put the DVD drive theory problem...

sounds like a possible problem with the mobo...I had a similar issue. I had to get a reball with lead soider, and now all is good

i dont think is RROD. @ Mazen.basidiq reball sounds really hard. i will try to pot tweak it. see if that helps. Have any of you guys flash the Slim 4G?

sounds like to me to be a GPU. i had this happen to a non flashed console. and i had to red ring repair it. to stop it. then later i had a guy reball my whole mobo with lead soider but i would not go to a slim.

OH sorry, one more thing i forgot to put down. I can play Madden 2k11 just fine. others i can play for 30mins or so. NBA2k11 will not play over 5mins.

This is a GPU error and those are the usual symptoms of the red ring of death. The games freeze at different times depending on how hard the GPU is working
