    IPhone 4 password bypass? any successors!

    Got me an IPhone 4 for a bargain price because it's passcode locked and no one can remember the code (apparently) has anyone managed to bypass it on the forth generation yet, I meaan completely and not just by the emergency call glitch?

    When you say passcode locked what exactly do you mean?. Baseband locked or Restriction lock for accessing apps?.

    cant you put it in dfu mode then restore it via itunes?

    The actual key lock to get to the home screen? I'm an android man and this was to good to pass up, just need to figure if there's any kind of hard reset or something to try

    DFU mode then restore via itunes will wipe everything including said password matey

    Yeh just restore it, setup as new, change sim to your own, pin gone! So long as the phone isn't barred that will work.

    The DFU method should work. Follow this for getting into DFU mode:
    iPhone DFU mode explained, and how to enter DFU mode on your iPhone

    You should then be able to hook it up to your computer and reset/repair with iTunes.
