read before flashing to lt

Postby brittnearl » Tue Jan 26, 2010 11:16 am

ive notice there is alot of confusion about how to flash to lt so i figured i would simplify the issue.

1. if you are flashing a stock drive update on live first then follow jungle flasher tutorial http://www.jungleflasher.net/files/JungleFlasher.pdf (flashing is the same as older firmware)

2. if you have a flashed drive the easiest method is to update from cd or usb http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/support/xbox3 ... update.htm
(the only reason to flash to stock firmware is to update from live)

i hope this helps :D

I was under the impression it was impossible to restore a liteon drive to stock firmware?
Also if you drive is already flashed and you flash with LT are you sure you're guaranteed to get banned?
Thanks

you can flash back to orig it is supplied with lt. if you played online with a previous firmware the risk is high at getting banned if you update with any firmware the risk is extremly high.

System/dashboard updates, title updates, etc. can be gotten here as well if you don't have access to Xbox Live for whatever reason.

I usually sort by Thread Start Time and in Descending order.
