Ok, so I've never flashed a drive, but it sounds like an amazing idea. So I was hoping to try it. I have a couple questions however, so if anybody can answer them it would be much appreciated. First question is what is the diffrence between ixtreme 1.6 and Lt. Second, Does anybody have a tutorial like a FULL tutorial on how to do it? Third are there any drives you can't flash? Finally, does it matter what DB number you have? I'm pretty sure its 8955. Thank You for your replies.

1: With LT you can play live with caution !
all other firmwire will ban you from xbox live ...

1b: LT works ( for the moment )only on a lite-on drive 74/83/93 series,only 93 serie need to be solder (see jungleflasher pdf)

2b: You can flash all drives ... 93 serie lite-on = not easy !

Thank you very much, but i have just received a twitter message saying they have a new Benq flasher firmware and thats what i have so i should use that then?

Have to agree, best tutorial to flash using Lite touch firmware, would be the jungle flasher pdf tutorial.
