Ok. I will try with good media and a different dvd burner. I have read that Mac burner can work not well on dvd for xbox.

I think I have founded the solution. The problem was Matsushita burner and/or speed write. I try with Nec burner (1x) with Writeon (no Verbatim) on windows with Imgburn and the games play well!
On my mac with Osx360 I use Matsushita burner and I can write from 2.4x and the games returns reed errors.

Wouldn't copying the game to the HD help solve the issue? it's my understanding that it checks to make sure there is a "valid" disk in the drive then runs the game from the HD. Just a thought.

i have the same problem here.. the same liteon (untouched then flashed with iX LT), same FW ... i also get the reading error also with my original games. even when i install them (origanls and copies) into the HD. it's horrible you are having a lot of fun, but suddenly the disc error message appears... some times it doesn´t happen in days, some days is impossible to play...

does it have some relation with calibration data?? is calibration data related to the laser well function?? what should i do??
