I recently bought a Falcon w/BEN-Q console. The question I have pertains to eSATA ports on a PC.
I have a spare eSATA port on this PC. Can this port be used to flash a 360 instead of using a regular SATA port? I do have 2 SATA ports but they're both taken with devices.
I know there's a cable called "SATA to eSATA". Can this be used for flashing the drive. I just have a lot of stuff(wires, connections, devices, etc.) to deal with when trying to flash a 360 drive. I was looking for a way to avoid opening up the back on the PC to gain access to one of the two SATA ports.
I don't wanna go out & buy a PCI SATA card either because I do have two ports already in use. I was just hoping that my eSATA port would work & would save me a lot of hassle of disconnecting devices & getting around all my wiring.
If an eSATA port will work is there any special configuration I'll need? I know that I'll need to get at least the SATA TO eSATA cable. Would I need anything else in the hardware/software category? Thanks!
