if you want to run xlink kai yes you need an internet connection but just to use the in game system link no

and about my e74 (one red light) error after jtaggin and speeding up my fan to 100% will it be fixed

No, e74 could be a sign of a failing GPU or Hana chip
i would start with getting the e74 fixed before you bother doing anything else to your xbox
it may just need a reflow or reballing

^^ ya jtagging wont fix an e74 it will need a reflow at the minimum. if you get it working and set the fans to 100% you will just be buying it time, but first you got to get rid of the e74

if you wont get it properly reflowed this would be the next best thing
