    Rgh questions

    Having just brought a couple of boards on ebay without dvd drives (to refine my reflow profile, which is now working consistently) i was wondering what is actually needed to glitch, i know you need the coolrunner, but what is the bare minimum hardware you need? do you actually need a usb nad programmer, or can you use the old lpt way?

    you will need bare minimum;
    nand-x programmer, (mine came will all the wires you need)
    coolrunner rev c board,
    nand-x to coolrunner jtag cable
    a decent soldering iron
    good solder and flux paste

    ok thanks, i assume i don't need to leave the nad-x in after the nad and coolrunner have been programmed ? and where would you recommend i buy them from (i have been looking at ck3.co.uk)

    The Nand-X is just for reading/writing your nand on the motherboard AND for programming the Coolrunner. Once that's done, the Coolrunner stays attached and the Nand-X goes into the cupboard. Alternately, they do have the J-R Programmer which essentially is a budget version of the Nand-X. It's only been out for a month or so, relatively new.

    I will not give you "workaround" solutions. Do it right, or don't do it at all!
