Ill make sure to keep you guys updated. I'm sure ill have questions along the way.
Did the download link I gave you in your thread not work?
@mitchem
My RGH Guide used to use Jtag Tool instead on J-Runner. The steps haven't changed much, and the differences between Jtag and RGH installs are hardware. Pretty much everything else is the same. Slick's Jtag Tutorial is great - it's just a bit outdated. So, other than hardware, my RGH Guide can be used as an additional reference for Jtag installs.

I'm only smart cause I did it every wrong way already.
Reset Glitch Hack (RGH) Guide
Why not to spoof drives
Pro Jtag/RGH/R-JTAG installs; SLIM DVD key retrieval/LTU flashing; Drive flashing
If you followed a half-assed way to back up your XGD3 game disc, you deserve all the trouble you're getting.

@charincol
In your guide it says "...it's completely useless on Xenons, for now." Im assuming this is just for RGH-ing, am I right?
This is how I am visualizing doing this in my mind as of right now
1.) solder connections to some type of lpt adapter. using
2.) Dump the NAND and compare. (With my NANDPRO3.0 program)
3.) Solder
4.)Then flash XBR (with my jtag tool program)
Im not sure what the XBR and Xell are, or what they do.
My main goal in this is to be able to play 360 games from a external hdd, but emulators would be nice too.

XBReboot is an obsolete hacked kernel and far surpassed by FreeBOOT so don't even mess around with it. Xell(-Reloaded) is the Linux booter that gives you your CPU key.
I didn't say you should try to RGH your console. Other than the installation hardware, the steps for dumping the Nand, flashing Xell, creating the FreeBOOT image, are almost identical for both Jtag and RGH. That's why my RGH Guide can be used as a Jtag resource.
Basically once the Jtag hardware is installed, you could follow the rest of my guide. Since you're using an LPT cable, J-Runner obviously won't work with it, and you'll have to use Jtag Tool for reading/writing to the Nand. You can still use J-Runner for everything else.
Don't worry about your CB. With your dash version, I'd be very surprised if it wasn't exploitable.

Sorry Charincol I used the link you sent and the RAR file was corrupted?
I should of tried it again but with all my anger issues of not getting my LPT to work I forgot about it and used NANDPRO.
I will try again at home instead of work to download and see if that fixes it.
Cheers
What you are doing is the way that I did it BUT Jtag Tool can do everything for you in one program.
