Thread: RGH Falcon Issues (Nand-X & Coolrunner rev B)

Hey Everyone,

Want to preface this by saying this is not my first install, I've done ~100 coolrunner installs now, so I'm fairly familiar with the process, but this is a new one for me -- Haven't been able to figure it out.

I have a Falcon board, installed QSBs and coolrunner w/o issue. Dumped my nand 4x, no bad blocks, no issues, all 4 compare the same. Flashed the coolrunner, created a xell .ecc, but DID NOT WRITE IT TO NAND. Turns out, I thought I had, but didn't. So I rebooted with the coolrunner in glitch mode, it glitched, booted to MS-Dash, and I realized I hadn't flashed the .ecc file

So, I try to flash the nand file, get a "Can not continue" - essentially nand not found. Now I Can't even read the nand from this board anymore either. Multiple other boxes still read fine. Checked for solder bridging, etc, found none. Ran a voltmeter on the various nand-x points all check out with normal voltage and/or resistance to ground with the power cable plugged in, except for J1D2 Pin 6. It is my understanding this should be a 6kOhm to ground (and it is on my other boxes). On mine it is a 40ohm.

I've tried resoldering the QSBs, removing those QSBs, soldering in new ones, and directly soldered in the nand-x wries, all yield the same result - "Can Not Continue" in J-runner and a bad pinout. It still boots fine to dash (14699), and is fully functional.

Any ideas?
