xell to xellous

how do i upgrade from xell to xellous i tried just flashing it with nand flasher and i got an error and it wouldnt boot lol so how do i go about doing this

write xellous then rewrite your FB img

could you give me some specifics lol im still new to this whole thing. if i use jtag tool and select xellous when i create a fb img will that include xellous in it? i do however get an error, something about the dae dose not jive but it still creats the img

ok what version of the cool shrimp app are you using also what type of console is it

First of all, is it a Jtag or RGH console? If it's RGH then Xell Reloaded is flashed which is an updated version of Xellous (which is just an update to Xell.). The only real differences between Xell and Xellous (or Xell Reloaded) is that Xellous runs a very small web and ftp server so if it's connected to your network, you can get your CPU and DVD keys from a webpage and use FTP for a few things. Unless you need it for something specific, you're not gaining a lot by updating to it.

o sry for not updating lol i got it all straightened out. i was a lil busy on my second xenon that was just given to me and jtaged it.

there both jtag'd xenons charincol and lol i see what you mean wasnt really a point for me to go to xellous and then i found xell launcher after all the work lol
