Hi, is the pcb still recognised in JF? Maybe you failed to connect the pcb back to the drive correctly or you failed to flash firmware to it in the first place, post your JF log

your barking up the wrong tree with the motor,
if it was fine before the hack, then you`ve done something wrong with it
try and retrace your steps and double check everything you did

it is still recognised in jf it locks unlocks flashes great no error
i even flashed back to stock i changed laser,dvd ribbon cable now it was a winbond and i was just sent a unlocked mx chip for a slim i hope it will work

you only have to be slightly off with a kamikaze and youve got a wasted board. ive read a few times that people have managed to save their drive functions with a tiny dab of wire glue or conductive ink in the botched kamikaze hole. maybe it will help you. if youre just going to bin the pcb then its worth a hit. i pm'd you with the source link earlier.
Possible solution for botched kamikaze with "write verify failed" message in JF?
