Just try it
I have a failed kamikazed slim liteon pcb that won't show up in jungleflasher. I wanted to know if I happen to replace the winbond chip on this board with one from a different slim liteon pcb, will I be able to revive the board? Is there anything else that I might need besides the new winbond chip?
I already have the dummy.bin and key from the board before I attempted the kamikaze so even if this doesn't work I can always buy a replacement pcb and flash the key and firmware onto it.
If I flash my Xbox 360, does that mean it can run Adobe Flash Player?
I don't always burn backups but when I do, I use verbatims. Stop truncating my friends..
I don't get why you would take a fully working winbond chip from a perfectly good board.... and try and transplant that to another board, whereby you will then have to unlock it (drill it) - possibly killing it again... it seems like a lot of effort for no real gain - why not just attempt the kamikaze hack on the working board and write your dummy.bin to that?

That makes far more sense. It should work providing you can solder the pins legs accurately, just flux the shit out of it I guess.
