    LiteOn DG-16D4S -Winbond/Kamikaze - Need Help flashing LT 2 to LT 3

Hi there and thanks in advance for your help,

i buyed an already flashed xbox360 from a shop in germany.

I'm new to flashing and want to update it from LT 2 to LT 3 myself - if its possible.

    Specifications:
    Xbox 360 250 gb
    Drive: LiteOn DG-16D4s
    Original Firmware: 0225
    Current Firmware: LT 2.0
    Current Dashboard: 13604 (or later)
    (added some pictures)

It is obviously flashed by unlocking the Winbond-Chip with Kamikaze-Method

I read the JungleFlasher tutorial and dont want to mess it up

Is it possible to flash my drive with the VIA VT6421 Chipset ( i got a pci controller) ?

The procedure should look like the following:
    1. Flash back to original FW
    2. Update to latest Dashboard
    3. Flash to LT 3.0

with the method shown in jungleflasher tutorial: "Locked Slim LiteOn Drives" - Windbond ?

It looks like i need to do a kamikaze hack every time to unlock the chip again, is that right ? whats the preferred method to do a reunlock ? i have read something about alcohol

    Thx alot for your help

Fook no! you should not need to drill it again. When you click the unlock SPI button lick your finger and dab the hole or use a q-tip. You basicaly need to lift the V of the exposed wire in the hole and the static from your body is enough to do the job.

Get yourself the usbpro I have heard the 6421 works using this trick....

Do you have your dummy.bin? If you do you just download the latest ixtreme and stock firmware files choose your dummy.bin as source and the 0225 OFW,which is located in the files you downloaded,as target you click spoof source to target and your ready!
