yes. both of them are removable. if you cant get the sata out of the drive, pull it from the board itself.

Yeah they come out, tough at first but you need them off to get the drive out matey. dont power the xbox without them connected you risk a possible flag...

and also how to flash it so that i can burn and play games... ? I have heard that these type of drives are hardware locked so we need a special tool Xbox360 Pro USB or something like that..So if u can help me step forward ..

Yes I assure you that they can be removed unless you got some really screwed up new version. What drive do you have before you do anything else?

To figure out the method of flash, you need to tell us whether it has a winbond or mxic chip inside. Hook it up to jungleflasher to find out via sata.

@ Jamseyboiii how to find the chip i mean where is it exactly located...or do i need to hook it up as u said?( BTW its my first flash... it's a tough one though)

You picked one of the hardest ones to mod lol. If you want you can open up the drive and turn it upside down, on the pcb there will be a chip, about the size of a fingernail with mediatek written on it. Below the mediatek will be either 03x or 05x (being mxic or winbond)

I cant open the dvd drive so i will have to connect it to my pc and i only have sata cable for power i think i will need xbox360 board supply. am i right?
