Thread: Random Play DVD (XGD2) and Play (XGD3 - then I'm kicked back to dash)

you are missing your dvd key, XGD2 will show play dvd and XD3 will go to a black screen then back to dash when there is no dvd key.

yes guessing you got 0225
i had the exact same problem which is due to a wrong or missing part of your dummy dump( something wrong with older JF extraction)
the fix is if u dumped prior with dosflasher use that one will work fine
other wise you will need to hex edit your dump and reflash but its going to be trial and error by editing with different celebration data cuz there are lots and lots of variations hope you get it first time

go to team-xecuter find their tutorial download a free hex editor use the data address and just edit as easy as that

Exactly!
I downloaded the Play DVD.pdf file and tried some calibration data with no lucky.
I tried the first (and second, which are the same) and the last of the tutorial but I'm still getting ramdom Play DVD (mostly on the first turn on).
I'll try to others but I remember that on the original post the guy who created the tutorial posted some other calibration data that are not on the PDF, but I cannot find the post anymore (maybe I'm being lazy :P)

Anyway, thx for the confirmation.
