Thread: "Flash Name: Unknown type error" when trying to flash drive

Hi,

I am trying to flash my liteon drive (0272 flashed with 1.91), using X360USB, and I keep getting the following properties after Intro/Device ID:

Code:

Sending Vendor Intro to port 0x0000
Serial flash found with Status 0x72
Sending Device ID request to port 0x0000
Spi Status: 0x00
Manufacturer ID: 0x0
Device ID: 0x0
Flash Name:  Unknown type
Flash Size:  n/a

I have tried power cycling, as suggested in other posts, with no luck. Any ideas on what I need to do to get my drive flashed.

Note: I have my drive on Vendor Mode but still cannot erase or write to drive. When I do try, I get the errors below:
