Get yourself the same model Hitachi that was in your Xbox before if you want to be safe on LIVE.
I have a first year 360, had a Hitachi drive in it, lens went bad and no longer reads discs, replaced it with a BenQ that currently has iXtreme LT (flashed back in September, don't remember the exact version), and I've been out of it since then. I see in LT+, that spoofed drives can be detected now. Does this apply to all firmwares or only LT+? I don't plan on playing backups anymore, just want to use it for LIVE.

Is there a site that sells them?
Where are you located?
Maryland, U.S.A.
My Hitachi was a 47, they sell them "46-59", I'm assuming it doesn't matter if I get a 47?
That's fine. Just don't get a 78 or 79 because of AP 2.5 checks.
Gotcha, thanks![]()
Ahh forgot to ask, will I need to replace the CD Key on the new one with the old key? Or will it work with it's own?
