    Iprep & LT+

    Hi, I never had any luck using jungleFlasher with my setup (nforce 430 board + Benq Drive) but I have flashed my drive twice in the past with IPrep (stock to 1.4 then 1.4 -> 1.6). For some odd reason My PC will freeze in windows (both XP & Windows 7 64 bit) as soon as I connect the XBOX drive to PC with sata cable. In other words, I just can't get JungleFlasher talk to my Benq drive but somehow that's doable with the USB boot disk created by Iprep.

    IPrep author has not made any new releases since version 12.1 and there is a note on his site saying the software won't work with LT+. Since I have the original BenOFW.bin, just wondering if it is possible for me to use jungleFlasher to create a new .BIN file (orignal BenOFW.bin with LT+ 1.1) and then use IPrep boot disk to flash that .bin file created by JungleFlasher back to my Benq drive?

    Any chance that I will brick my drive doing things this way? (Just not sure how is JungleFlasher differ from the tools Iprep uses.)

    Just reply to my own post, it worked. I created the bin file using JungleFlasher, drop the new bin file to the USB boot disk created by Iprep, then use DOSFlash.exe (updated it to version 1.8) to flash that bin file to my Xbox 360 Benq drive with the tray half open trick.

    Everything looks good now, it can play any backup I throw at it .

    theres a note on his site saying iprep wont work with LT+ i always use iprep and i used it while upgrading to LT+ lol

    iprep 11.6 works fine
