    question about spoofing

    i have an old xbox with a hitachi drive and want to replace it. but before i buy a new one i just want to be sure it would work like that.
    can i buy a liteon drive and flash it with lt+ and spoof it as my old hitachi? did i forget something or does it work like that?

    Are you planning on playing on LIVE? If so, Hitachi is not safe. Spoofing to another drive isn't safe either.

    Moral: Spoofing any drive other than it's own brand i.e. Liteon 74850C to 93850, is unsafe to go on LIVE.

    YES you can just buy and lite on and spoof as hitachi and play all new games ap25 protected however I would recommend a benq drive as they are easy to flash and required no extra hardware I have already change a few for people whith your issue and are working fine
