for this drive, normally you just need to connect it with SATA to your computer, then launch jungleflasher and select the Port Com, to find the drive. If not, did you check if your VIA SATA Card doesn't need to get the drivers uninstalled ?
Regarding the upgrade to Lt+, using the last jungleflasher and if your drive has already been flashed with previous ixtrem firmware, you'll be able to get the dummy from this previous flash, and then get the upgraded and modified Lt+ firmware for your drive. You'll then just need to erase and write the new firmware.

If you can't see the drive in Jungleflasher then don't proceed. It's likely that, as mentioned, there's something wrong with the drivers. Alternatively you could have a dud SATA cable or it's not communicating properly with the ports. Try connecting your hard drive to Sata port 1 and your Xbox drive to Sata port 2. Make sure your drive has power before booting the computer, and if it installs drivers then you may need to restart your computer just in case.
