    Flashing LiteOn 83850C v1

    Hi, I have been trying to flash my xbox for the first time but cant seem to understand a few things..

    I've done everything it says in the Jungleflasher tutorial and installed(?) the iXtreme 1.1 firmware on my xbox and it all seemed to go right, but when i put a backed up DVD into my Xbox it says 'Unrecognized disc'. I read about the laser going crazy on some drives, but when i put an old, original game in it plays without any problems.

    I've read that there's a 1.6 version of the firmware but cant get my hands on it, is that anything for the LiteOn drive?

    All i want to do is played backed up games, not play Live or connect to the internet, can this be done?

    Hi, did you disconnect your laser ribbon when you flashed your drive?

    No i did not.. I did however reflash with the 1.61 firmware and im playing without problems now.. Seems like its rather hard to come across that firmware in comparison to the 1.1, wich seems a little odd.. But im happy for now
