Xbox 360 Slim flash?

Hi everyone...

I have a question, since I've been thinking about buying a Xbox 360 slim. The thing is that I've seen (I've been reading a lot) that the latest ixtreme lt has just the things I want: it doesn't mess too much with the original firmware, it reads everything (like non-stealth, something that I read that 1.61 doesn't do) and a long etc... My question is: I understand that the team is currently working in flashing the Slim version... what I don't know is: Do you think the ixtreme made for Xbox 360 slim will have the same quality and properties than the current LT? Or, since it's new and the console as well, it's more probable that it will come with less quality?

Hi, the firmware for the Slim once released is likely to be just like the current LT firmware, as close to stock as possible, other then that nobody as no idea about this other then the dev team

It must be out already as Ghost2Fitter is selling Pre-modded consoles. Either that or they have been able to rip the key.

Anyone know anything about this ?

I just got a new Xbox 360 Slim and was about to flash but when I read few forums its seems to be like it's more complicated then just flashing it? I want to go online even after flashing.

Now many people says that we need a hard ware flashing and some says only software flashing would do and even different forums have diff information. Can you please help me to choose the correct flashing options and send me guideline while doing so. Need help really.

Just go though the Jungleflasher Tutorial for your drive. It will explain everything in details and tell you what is needed to flash your drive.

in the future start your own thread.

First off, dependant on the drive that is in your slim, it changes things. Some you can use solders and trace cuts as well as the sputnik360 or sputnik360 probe. You may be able to get a pre-unlocked pcb and replace your own pcb. or you might need to drill a hole in your drive's chip. Once you open it up, you will know your options. Without the above methods, you can only read the drive but cannot write to it.

next, you are going to need an x360usb with updated drivers and a ck3lite or ck3pro with a molex power supply. Then you will download the newest Jungle Flasher with tutorial as well as teh latest Firmware and follow the tutorial to the T.

Its obviously far more complex than this, but in general its a combo of hard and software.

The real answer though is that until you open up your xbox, you will not be able to just have a "this is how you do it for you" so wait until you buy and open it up to ask details.
