    Unhappy Most secure drive

    Hello,

I am planning to get an xbox,(and yes, im very new to XBOX and flashing, as I have just played Playstation 1,2,3 for my whole life so far ) and i was thinking about flashing it with ixtreme, since jtag seems to be far more risky. Now I wonder which xbox you should look after. I looked at what firmwares that was avaliable, and i could se that it was different version numbers for different drives. BenQ=1.2 LiteOn=1.1 Samsung=1.0
Does this mean that BenQ has a newer and more secure firmware, or is it just versions number(like, 0=samsung, 1=LiteOn and 2=BenQ) ?
I remember when Halo was released before release date, and many who downloaded and played it were banned later on. But those with Samsung drives weren't that affected, as they were sending the "right" codes to Microsoft, but the other drives didn't do... So is still Samsung better, or is it any other which is considerd as more secure?

Also, if I buy an already flashed 360, is it harder to "unflash" any of the drives if you want to update the 360?

    Thx in advance.

    Re: Most secure drive

Hi they are all pretty much the same all round for been secure and reverting back to stock firmware, although i would say maybe LiteOn's are a little more secure as you can perform a full dump of this drive including calibration data etc... but the are alot harder to flash then say a BenQ or Samsung

    Re: Most secure drive

    Okey, thanks for the info.
Then it does'nt matter so much which drive I choose in case of LIVE-Ban, as I will pay someone else to do the ixtreme flashing. :P
