Dashboard Update

Hi guys,

I currently have dashboard version 2.0.13599.0 with Lt 2.0 I assume, however I am not sure as I had taken it to a store. I'm assuming that in order to play Fallout 3: Ultimate Edition you need to update to version 2.0.14699.0 at least, is this correct? If so, how should I go along by doing this? Should I first re-flash to stock, then go on Live to do the latest update that is 2.0.15574.0, and then update to Lt 3.0? Or is there are a different approach?

There's many approaches, The golden one, Flash drive to stock firmware, update dash then flash LT+ V3/2.0/2.1 or 2.0b whichever is yours.

Or my way, seeing as you are on 13599 then just update dash, the update doesn't include any drive changes and updates as normal no matter what FW is on it!

Your choice!

So I can simply go on Live and update to the latest version without any troubles?

And after the update you will still have LTplus on the drive too..

Oh one question I forgot to ask, does the Ultimate Edition of New Vegas require an update greater than 2.0.13599.0?

no idea mate, to check what kernal (dash) a game wants just run it through ABGX that tells you everything about the game, dash, achievements and size!

No worries, Rage is a similar game and it's over 3 disk's, 13599 too..

I've got some updates, however the plan didn't go quite accordingly.

FNV: Ultimate Edition required an update and thus I patched it up to 2.0.14699.0 via USB. The update was successful, however all my games are unreadable. They are either being read as DVDs or the "Insert this game into an Xbox 360 console" message pops up. Should I update to LT 3.0? or is there another solution?
