flash to stock then finish the update via usb or the original retail disk. then reflash to whichever is the newest fw for your drive matey. this is partly the reason we say
ALWAYS FLASH TO STOCK BEFORE ACCEPTING SYSTEM UPDATES
Hello everyone.I'm new here and i'm having trouble with my console.
I had my xbox flashed a while ago when the ap25 games were out.I think it is flashed with LT+.(How can i check this?)
I hadn't gone online since the flash and i put a game in today and asked for an update. At halfway through the update stopped and i got "error code 3151 397f b800 0f00 c000 0013".Now i literally can't do anything but power on my console. Is there any way i can get this fixed? I'm a noob at xbox360 flashing.

You'll need the original disc in there now to get you out of the update loop. Once the 13146 update (the one that's got you in this loop) is processed, you'll be able to use your console again. However, you are now flashed back to stock and will not be able to read any backups, hence why you're having the problem you are right now.
ALWAYS FLASH TO STOCK BEFORE ACCEPTING DASHBOARD UPDATES!!
I will not give you "workaround" solutions. Do it right, or don't do it at all!

I already told you what you need to. Your console is in an update loop because you applied a dashboard update from a backup disc that's updating you to 13146 or beyond. This ONLY happens when the console is trying to apply the DVD firmware update that's contained in the 13146 update. You MUST put a retail disc in for the update to complete. I had 2 people bring me their consoles last month that they had done the same thing. The only thing that works is the retail disc. Once you do that, the update will finish. However, your flash is now gone, nothing you can do to "save it". You will have to get someone to reflash it for you.

just to clarify,ya ddnt need the disc the update was on,you can tell wich dash it is trying to update to via the error code...
****-397d-****-****-****-****. This would be 14717
13599 would be 351F
13604 would be 3524
15574 would be 3CD6
just download the system update needed onto usb and it will carry on from there.
i had to do this with a xbox that had the wrong drive in it,i just used the proper drive without flashing key to it as i left flashing kit at work,it still updated from usb fine, then got home flashed correct key,now its on XBL running the beta dash![]()
