pls help
hello im new to the board
i got my first 360 manufactured from 2006 and it is now dead from the red rings as i dont have warranty and i failed aat fixing it
my first 360 was a samsung ts something and was flashed with xtreme i think (am i right?). all i know is that i can play any kind of backups stealthed or not stealthed which was great. it was funny because all my backups are non stealthed and i even updated and played a couple of xbox live games (im not a heavy xbox live user) and i wasnt banned
now i picked up a new xbox 360 from ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... K:MEWAX:IT
im assuming that it has the latest lite on drive
it is not flashed as i was told by the seller
now my question is what is the best firmware for me that will allow me to play any backup games no matter what wave and not get banned from xbox live?
i saw this new ixtreme LT, is that similar to the xtreme that i have?
so really can someone just give me an idea on what i will say to this guy who has been flashing 360s.. do i say "flash this with xtreme or ixtreme 1.5 or LT" or something like that
thanks a lot and pls help out

pls help
For the Lite-On drives, the latest (and best) firmware is Lite Touch. It is similar to Xtreme firmware yes, but it has protection against being banned from XBox Live (your backups need to be stealthed correctly or you will get banned). For easy modification of this drive, I recommend getting a CK3 and Probe. Here you will find a tutorial from start to finish on how to modify that drive: http://team-xecuter.com/jungle-flasher- ... on-74850c/ (where the tutorial shows iXtreme 1.6, use Lite Touch instead).
thanks a lot for the reply
but im not the one flashing lol ill probly destroy it
so ill just inform the guy to flash it with LT
also, when u said it is the same as extreme does that mean i can still play my old xbox 360 unpatched games?
also i have other questions
what if i have updated and flashed with LT, then is the only way to update safely is to update via cd or usb? other than going back to the original firmware of the drive? (is that called the stock as some people are referring to?)
also, since i have the "stock" or original firmware, it is perfectly safe to flash straight to LT?
and, i had heaps of burned games for my old xbox with xtreme firmware (sammy drive) that pretty much allowed me to play unpatched/unstealthed games, is that the same as LT?
pls help?????
1.Yeah the safest way to do future updates is usb or cd
2.That will give you the best chance in not been banned
3.Yeah thats pretty much the same, BUT YOU MUST make sure all your backups are fully stealthed through ABGX before playing
