It's a bit short eh! when you power the drive first is the green light on the 360 solid or blinking? it should be solid! do you have another power cable to try? maybe borrow a mates!

Its blinking like crazy. Not sure when it started doing that, but it have been blinking for as long as i had problems.

That means there's a problem on the board. Either you wiped the flash or it's just dying, it does happen! have a google for recovering dead lite-on's there's loads of threads on it. If that doesn't work then it's new drive time or logic board at least and just flash that with your dummy.

So its blinking because my drive is dying, or because my xbox board is dying?

the drive! is out of sync, try opening up the drive again in JF then just hit 'outro' it might be the drive is just 'open' and needs closing (locking) again!

Where do i find said DOS folder or equivalent files?

Booting the USB to DOS... does that mean shut down the comp and select the USB as boot?

Yes all dos programs require a little homework. as it's all done in dos with no gui in most cases! I've never had to do it so i'm not the best to advise you!

You will need to make a usb boot drive to get to dos. just pop a usb stick in your pc, hit format, then make sure it's on the fat file system and choose the boot option.

Im about to fucking punch a hole in my screen. The tutorials are nearly useless when they dont explain what to put on the usb and how the fuck to get it....

These files they talk about seems to be legendary and long lost files that noone can find...

what blinking Xbox doesn't mean broken drive it just means no Xbox drive connected to Xbox via sata as I'm aware

as far as your problem download dosflash it's a GUI and easy to use not like booting into dos which needs understanding of dos prompts etc

I use Dosflash all time jungleflaser likes erasing my drives and then giving me intro failed
