Thread: dash 14719 with lt3.0

There won't be any problems with the dashboard, more than likely you have one of a few problems.

1 - laser issue, could be resolved with POT tweak, use the search to find out more
2 - bad burn, but not likely if it works in the other console
3 - console giving signs of RROD, in which case you may want to replace the x-clamps as a first resort

A bad burn won't cause freezing issue, a bad burn will just either kick you out of the game and back to the dash or say disk needs cleaning or disk unrecognised. Freezing is definetly the GPU ! soz

Actually it can, depending on your laser responding to the disc.

All the 360's with bad laser's i've come across simply give the 'open tray' error for the Lite-On's and BenQ or will play an original fine but not a backup if it's an Hitachi, And Sammy's just fail to do anything if they have any laser issue's! You may get stuttering on a DVD movie i can imagine but not in a game! Still if it's happened to you fairy nuff!!

i would say it`s the gpu, but to save any arguments
first clean and pot tweek your laser
if the problem persists, then it`s highly likely
it`s the gpu, if it`s never had a clamp fix, try that,
that would be the first thing i would try,
if that doesn`t sort it, reflow, or reballing
