Thread: Sammy LT+2.01 nor BENQ 3.0 Not playing XGD3

    Sammy LT+2.01 nor BENQ 3.0 Not playing XGD3

    Hey guys, iv got 2 drives one a sammy MS028 and a BENQ.

    Sammy has LT+2.01
    BENQ has LT+3.0

    Neither of them can play XGD3 games. Games in the past have worked like Black ops and such but ever since XGD3 hit
    it dosent play them :/ Iv looked at every tutorial so far to fix this issue.

    Things iv done

    • Re-flashed the drives
    • Switch to Verbatim Disc
    • Flashed back to stock then back to Modded firmware
    • POTS tweak


    iv re-flashed these consoles i swear over 50 times. This is really pissing me off.

    Have you ran your games through abgx?Also how are the kprobe results?

    Also whats the condition of the laser's? do you get unrecognised disk or open tray errors?

    Yes i run every game i get through ABGX, and i havent looked at Kprobe, ill try that out when i get home.

    The laser is fine i think cause is plays every other games fine such as black ops or GTA IV

    If it plays black ops then i would say it's an IHas related error! in the burning the 8.5's. did the burnermax flash go ok?

    Don't see any mention of an iHas burner. Are you using one? Or just your regular burner?

    No, im not using an IHAS burner, im just using a regular burner, which iv used for burning games in the past

    There's the problem. XGD3 games require 200MB extra space to be burned on the disc. You can only burn that with an iHAS burner (rev B) flashed with BurnerMAX firmware. Plain and simple, it's the only way to make it work.

    Aaaand that's the problem right there, you need to get an IHAS burner and flash it with C4eva's burner max firmware. This will let you burn 100% of the .iso to a standard 8.5GB dl disc
