    Question flash without original key file

    I bought a phat xbox with liteon 93450c, flashed. Recently i've update to 14699 dash and i lost ability to play backups. I'll buy the x360usb and the ck3i with the probe to reflash the drive to use lt+3.0

    Can i flash without having the original file with the drive key?? can I retrieve it with the probe without problems? do I have to flash to stock fw first??

    you should have flashed to stock before you updated, if your going to be opening your xbox you might as well update to the newest dash and then flash to 3.0

    just to let you know, when you flash it to lt+3.0
    you will also need to repatch your games with abgx
    and reburn on ihas burner with ixtreme burnermax firmware
    and singapore verbatim discs, cheap discs on an old burner won`t work anymore

    @OP.. Yes you can get the key with the probe, that's what the probe is for.
    Once you got the key, update to latest dash ( you've already been flashed to stock when u updated) and flash to latest iXtreme (3.0)
