Will I use my xbox on LIVE?
If not, just flash it with LT and play all your games, also stay on 9xxx dashboard, there have been troubles with Fable. If yes keep on reading.

Is Live safe with fw flashed?
According to the 1# fw maker c4eva it is completely safe to have a xbox with the newest LT firmware. This firmware is not out yet for all drives.

Is Live safe to play burnt games?
Most burnt games are safe if burnt right. The things to make sure is

SplitVid
AP2.5

Microsofts newest ways to check if games are burnt and stuff. It is completely new and is a little unknown. DO NOT PLAY AP 2.5 GAMES ON LIVE!!!!!

I have already flashed my xbox with a benq drive (spoofed as a hitachi) to iXtreme LT+ 3.0. Can I update it to the latest dashboard 2.0.14699.0 (Metro design)? would it be best too update through disc/usb drive then live?

I will be playing games mainly offline but I want the new design layout.

my xbox it is currently on 2.0.13599.0

just wanted to let you know that i successfully updated to LT+2.0 yesterday by following your advice... back to stock-->update dash-->flash to LT+2.0. Used my CK3 pro and Probe 3 that i received during the week and used them
Disconnected the laser ribbon as well before flashing
Works like a charm

YO my names Chris i am from da US but currently live in Nicaragua and i have a couple of questions i bought an xbox 360 and its a 2009 version hitachi 79 fl and it was flashed i was hella happy when i found out i couldn't play gears of war 3 and all games 3.0 and up i got all fucked up i we nto to these pros that know how to flash it and told me i couldn't do it for my version of dvd driver what ever reader becuz it was a hitachi 79 fl because it wont support 3.0 version it i needed a Liteon reader is that true??? becuz iv seen these guys in youtube fucking flashes these drives? they told me right idk that's why i am asking im so new at this so flashing thing but learning here and there. Let me know if i can flash it to play those games im dieing for i wanna play the tomy clancys future soldier and call of duty modern warefare 3 Guys help me in this doubt that i dont know or if i have to buy a new dvd driver thats a liteon let me know which version or what ever becuz im dieing to play.
