Thread: LiteOn Tutorial for flashing with LT Lite Touch Firmware

Hi guys...

Argh, no matter how many times i read the tutorial, read the post there is something that isnīt clear... My PHAT lite on is not updated with the dash that turn you drive back to stock. Ill wait till lt 2.0 to flash again, and i have the key, cause i did the flashing last time (about a year ago).
The question is: Do i need to do any soldering even already having the key? Or letīs say if today i wish to update to 1.91, i could just use my key and update as i did last time?
These talk about locking the drives and stuff, really got me confused :S

i have the same problem as HernestoSanchez... a few years ago i flashed my xbox to ixtreme 1.6 and then, last year i upgraded to the first version of LT+ and i kept the key. so now, do i have to do anythinhg else or can i just upgrade to LT+ 1.9 or 2.0 when it comes out?
my drive is lite-on 74850C

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the whole flashing the xbox. I tried to read the tutorial from here and some of the information that's in the tutorial I don't understand. I bought a phat xbox a while back and had a guy professional hack (soldered) my drive. I would now like to do it myself but there are a lot of different ways to flash the dvd drive. I'm very new to jungle flasher so here's my setup. I don't have the probe or anything like that, I just have my computer motherboard to connect my xbox drive to, I've got a liteon drive 93450c, jungle flasher and my original FW and I would like to upgrade my drive to the latest LT+. I've got LT+ 1.7 installed on drive I believe. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I have a lite-on 93450c with LT+ 2.0 and it was running GOW 3 ( and other XDG3 games like FORZA 4) just fine. Then I updated it to dash 14717. After the dash update i flashed it directly to LT+ 3.0 from LT+ 2.0 (without flashing it back to OFW in between)

Now the XDG3 disks which i burnt for LT+ 2.0, are not playing even though its LT+ 3.0 on 14717. My question is, is it because I didn't flash it to OFW first before flashing to LT+ 3.0 from LT+ 2.0 or do I just have to burn the games again after running with ABGX 1.06?
