Some confusion

Hi,

Im a bit confused. I have a xbox 360 with stock samsung drive.
I have downloaded jungle flasher and "Latest_iXtreme_and_Stock_Firmware_Pack.rar". (with 2.0.1 sammy)

Ive been reading some tutorials but i am confused about what i should put in the firmware folder.
Some tutorials say all files and folders, some say "ix16-samsung-0800.bin" and others "LT-sammy-v2.01.bin".

Personally the last one would make most sense to me. Or can i just put all the firmwares from the firmware folder in the firmware folder of jungleflasher. Because there is also a file named "Place Firmware Here!.txt" with file name entries that arent in the pack.

Also after reading and auto loading, should i press "spoof to target" or not?

One last question: When connecting with sata to pc, the xbox should have power and video cables plugged in but not connected to TV right?

You can put all the firmware in there if you want although you'll only need the LT-sammy-v2.01.bin for your sammy drive. Spoof source to target is to copy your key over so yes. I would not recommend using the xbox for power, I would get a CK3, but if you do yes you would need to plug the video cables to a TV.

Thanks. I was following JFTUT 1.4.4 and it goed directly from saving the custom firmware to writing it. But i should do : Save, Spoof and write then.

Sounds right, if you follow JF you'll be good. And when you save, save it like 3 times then backup 3 times on 3 different things. HD, USB, Disc.

Yes, and Sammy should be good because it doesn't do AP2.5 checks. Make sure if you try to play XGD3 discs they are burnt with iXtreme Burner and not truncated.

Thanks for your help, for xgd3 im gonna have to buy a ihas 124b and verbatims only right (or do other brands also work)?

other brands do work, the success rate is just much higher for Verbatims and by the time you get it figured out, you might have ended up spending 10 discs. it is recommended just to buy Verbs and figure the extra cost is actually not any more than the loss of coasters of other brands.
